Amazon Filters highly commended at Surrey Business Awards

We are celebrating a ‘highly commended’ citation for International Business at the prestigious Surrey Business Awards 2024.

Judges were keen to praise us after our category entry explained how we support customers in markets around the world through the successful combination of a distribution model and direct supply from the UK.

This strategy has seen our exports grow by more than 70% in the last five years, taking the level of international sales to 73% of revenues overall.

International Business was one of three categories we were shortlisted for this year. The others were ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and Innovation.

The Awards, designed to celebrate business growth and success, saw entries sent in by Surrey-based companies from a wide range of sectors.

Neil Pizzey, Amazon Filters Managing Director, said: “As a triple finalist, it’s disappointing not to come away with an award win but we are nevertheless thrilled to have been Highly Commended for International Business.

“To be in the running for any award win is a massive vote of confidence in us as a manufacturer and employer.”

The Surrey Business Awards, run by Platinum Media Group, aim ‘to recognise the remarkable achievements and contributions of businesses and individuals across the region’. 

The awards ceremony was held at G Live in Guildford and hosted by comedian, writer, actor and presenter Suzi Ruffell.
