More than 200 team members at our Surrey production centre are to be offered hands-on community volunteering opportunities.

It follows an agreement between us and charity CMPP, the Community Matters Partnership Project.

As a business partner of CMPP, we will benefit from help to further our community links while giving around 220 staff the chance to support a range of activities.

They include participation in community action days, environmental clean-ups, projects at local schools and fundraising initiatives.

Ruth Pappadakis, our Head of Human Resources, said: “Taking part in community volunteering supports our staff wellbeing, workplace values and company culture.

“Many of our employees live locally and are keen to give something back to the community so becoming a CMPP business partner fits well with that.

“At the same time, as a company founded and based in Surrey, we want to strengthen our local community connections too.

“We look forward to sharing CMPP volunteering opportunities with our team members in all kinds of job roles, both factory and office-based.”

Tracy Jarvis, Chief Executive of CMPP, said: “As a well-established and respected local company, Amazon Filters represents a perfect example of how we can enable the strengthening of connections between a company and its community.

“We’re keen to start helping Amazon Filters employees get involved in some exciting and worthwhile local volunteering projects.”
