Amazon Filters has engaged with representatives of the global pharma supply chain at a major industry showcase celebrating its 35th year.
Sales Manager Joe Jones led our presence in Milan, Italy, at the annual CPHI event, the world’s biggest international pharma gathering.
Joe met decision makers from a range of companies across several target sales territories, discussing product applications in API manufacturing and other pharma-related activities.
Joe said: “It was an ideal, face-to-face opportunity to showcase our range of filters and housings to key players in pharma and, at the same time, learn first-hand about the latest market trends.”
Among the products under discussion were our single stack 72C and 76C series housings which ensure conformance with the industrywide ASME BPE standard and its stringent criteria for hygienic design, materials construction and fabrication.
The housings support critical liquid and gas applications involved in the complex, multi-step chemistry of making drugs and medications whether in tablet, suspension or liquid forms.
As well as API, key production areas include sterile products, liquid creams and ointments.
The event was also an opportunity to promote our pleated cartridges, meltblown depth filters, lenticular filters and membrane filters.
Joe stressed their benefits for essential pharma applications such as particulate removal, tank-to-tank filtration, decolourisation and deodorisation.
Many products have been developed with input from industry partners including global pharmaceutical companies
